808 Purple Flow is the name of a collective project that brings several beat makers and producers together on collaborative tracks with guest vocalists and rappers.
Records released under the name 808 Purple Flow may include contributions from any or all of the members; the lineup is not uniform. Some band members met in school and started recording together in various forms of collaboration from a young age, some joined the band later coming from other projects. Although the band is often classified as urban trap, it is hard to define the 808 Purple Flow sound as they often experiment with diverse styles and ideas from track to track.
